Quick Access Downloads Folder – Windows 10 quick access file location free download
I’ve moved the location of my downloads folder to a java windows 10 drive as it has more space. The windows default downloads location and stuff like the “This PC” link to Downloads all got updated correctly. However, the quick access Downloads link is broken and points to the now non-existent old downloads location.
My old location was actually also not the default location either, but when I changed it that time everything did get updated including the Quick access link. Was this reply helpful? Yes No.

Just right click the old folder on Quick Access and select Unpin from Quick Access to remove it from there.

In reply to Leonardo Penha Mesquita’s post on June 22, Unfortunately while unpinning the folder does unpin it, it still is stuck in quick access. The remove from quick access button is there, but it seems to do wibdows. If I try to pin the actual downloads folder, the broken downloads folder in quick access gets pinned. If that does not work, try clicking Locattion Default. It’s worth a try. Please report back. In the properties section for the broken downloads folder in quick access, there doesn’t fle to be a location tab.
I’ve tried setting the actual downloads location to the location of the broken folder and that makes the quick access folder function again but it breaks again once I set the doownload downloads location to the location I want.
Running out of ideias here hehe What about creating a new profile? Would it be worth the trouble? Keith A.
